You need to either bake a Victoria sponge or cupcakes using the following recipe.

6oz Flour

6oz Butter

6oz sugar

3 eggs

Method

  1. Mix the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  2. Gradually add the 3 beaten eggs.
  3. Sift in the flour and combine all the ingredients together.
  4. Split mix evenly between two greased tins approx. 6 inches round or into approx. 12 cupcake cases.
  5. Bake at 180˚c Gas mark 4 for approximately 15 – 20 mins.
  6. Allow to cool and decorate as desired. If making a Victoria sponge, spread strawberry jam to the cooled cake and sandwich together.

Entries need to be presented for judging at the fayre no later than 11.30am on Sat 23rd November 2019.
