Kingswood Foodbank

KMC supports the Kingswood Foodbank by providing by staff and donations of food and other products.

The Foodbank is situated in the Bourne Community Church (BCC) on the junction of Waters Rd with Two Mile Hill Rd (opposite Centurys night club).

It is open to clients every Monday (except Bank Holidays), from 11am to 1pm. donations can be accepted from 9:30am.

Monday 13 Aug update. 17 clients and a long list of shortages again: Tins of tomatoes (we have only 1 left on the shelf) as well as tins of custard, rice pudding, veg and meat (all types). We also need cartons of long life milk (down to our last 3) and fruit juice (just 1 left). The rest of the list is deodorant, toilet tolls, size 6 nappies, baby wipes, liquid soap, shampoo (none left) and hot chocolate.

If anyone has a shopping trolley they no longer need we would be happy to accept them to help clients without transport get what we give them home.

Please remember we are allowed to only give out items that are in date.

For more details contact Peter Shears who, as well as being a member of KMC, leads the Foodbank team. He can be contacted on (0117) 373 1849/ peteshears@msn.com
